Christopher Nickerson

Chief Executive Officer, Managing Partner

Chris Nickerson is a tireless entrepreneur with innate passion and instincts for not only identifying business opportunities but establishing a solid vision and carrying it out. He founded TrainingPro in 2000 after identifying a need in the professional training industry. He grew TrainingPro to be the national leader in mortgage education, expanding from doing business in two states in 2000 to all 50 states less than a decade later.

Nickerson is an accomplished businessman with proven operational skills, flexible growth strategies and the ability to motivate a team. He has become an advisor, venture capitalist and mentor to aspiring business owners.

He was named a finalist by professional services firm Ernst & Young LLP for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2004 and 2007 Awards in Maryland. TrainingPro was placed on Baltimore Smart CEO magazine’s “Future 50” list in 2004, and again in 2005, based on its rapid growth of sales and employees over that period. TrainingPro was listed in the 2006 Inc. Magazines Inc 500 list for fastest growing companies. He served on the Board of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), a national organization that helps young people from low-income communities build skills and unlock their entrepreneurial creativity.

Mr. Nickerson has held several different NASD securities licenses including series 7, 63, 65, 31 and 24 as well as a life and health insurance license. Nickerson recently was responsible for successfully raising the capital and launching the GUNTRY Club of Maryland, one of the nation’s largest indoor firearms training facility

Lance Cassell

Chief Information Officer

Lance is an accomplished technology executive with over 15 years of Product and Business Development experience in the Compliance Technology, Enterprise Software and Custom Application Development industries.

Mr. Cassell began his career at TrainingPro.com, where along with Nickerson and soon a team of amazing people, helped grow the company from a startup launched in a dining room to a booming national solutions provider. He is a technologist with a proven track record of dynamic product leadership, building relationships, developing partnerships and a solid reputation for increasing revenues and key client retention.

Cassell served on the Greater Baltimore Committee's Technology and Innovation Subcommittee for a number of years. Next, he shifted his focus to disruptive video technology while staying involved in digital learning platforms, cloud services and data capital. When Dell and EMC merged, he was then offered the opportunity to lead business development strategy and client acquisition operations for Dell Technologies, guiding vast organizations in the mid-Atlantic region down the path towards Digital Transformation. Clients included Under Armour, Johns Hopkins, Laureate Education, University of Maryland Medical Center and the Baltimore Ravens. Prior to PinPoint, Lance worked for a data science company focused on using artificial intelligence in the realms of Software Engineering, Technology & Process Transformation, Workforce Development, and Application Modernization.

At PinPoint, Cassell is tasked with setting technology principles and controls that lead to innovative products that solve market-driven problems. He is a creative entrepreneur who is passionate about safety & security, new media platforms, innovative technology and family. Lance enjoys following world football and reading non-fiction in the morning.

Darlene Mitchell

Director of Customer Success

Mrs. Mitchell is currently the Director of Support for PinPoint. She has 20 years of Customer Service and Business to Business Sales Support experience. Darlene worked for Bloomberg BNA for 10 years where she was the single point of contact for BNA’s Largest Law firm customers and the Legal Solutions Sales Consultants serving those clients. She has considerable experience with contract review, billing, pricing, web navigation, and problem solving.

Karen Chandler

Director of Communications

Ms. Chandler is a resourceful marketing professional experienced in marketing strategy, business development, product leadership, and relationship management. Karen possesses a strong ability to propel marketing initiatives with a track record of increasing adoption and growing companies. She enjoys reading, writing and exercising on her new Peleton!

Melissa A. Carroll

Office Administrator

Mrs. Carroll provides administrative support and oversight of all daily office operations at Pinpoint US, LLC. Prior to accepting her position with Pinpoint, Melissa worked with several trade association as an Executive Director (Pennsylvania Association of Mortgage Brokers), Office Administrator (American Council of Engineering Companies of PA) and Membership Associate (Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials).

Sara Madgey

Founder

Sara Madgey is an educator and entrepreneur with a passion to help others and to solve problems. Sara has over ten years of experience teaching at the elementary and middle school levels. She also works with teachers to train them on how to use and integrate new technology into their classrooms. 

Sara started PinPoint Safety with the idea that emergency procedures in school systems could be improved with the use of technology. She continues to work to improve communication and emergency procedures across all industries with her work at Pinpoint.
